Constructed in November 2010, Orion boasts high fidelity textures and materials. Featuring numerous animated parts like flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers, this meticulously detailed model also includes retractable landing gear with closable doors. The polygon count has been improved for smoother faces, and most of the aircraft has been remodeled from scratch. Available in various formats with numerous airline liveries, this P-3 Orion model is based on a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft introduced in the 1960s. Developed for the United States Navy, it was derived from the L-188 Electra commercial airliner and is easily recognized by its unique tail stinger or "MAD Boom" used for magnetic submarine detection.
