Constructed in November 2010, Orion boasts high-quality textures and materials while maintaining near-scale accuracy. It features animateable flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers, as well as retractable landing gear with closable doors. The model's faces have been smoothed, poly-count increased, and most of the aircraft remodeled from scratch. Additionally, all materials have been reworked. Available in multiple formats with various airline liveries, this P-3 Orion model showcases its distinctive tail stinger or "MAD Boom", used for magnetic submarine detection. Developed by Lockheed for the United States Navy in the 1960s, the P-3 Orion is a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft based on the L-188 Electra commercial airliner.
