Built in November 2010, Orion boasts a near to scale construction with high-quality textures and materials. This model features numerous exterior details such as animateable flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers. It also includes retractable landing gear and closable landing gear doors. Improvements were made to the smoothness of faces and increased poly-count, while most of the aircraft was remodeled from scratch. The interior contains detailed cockpit features with controls, instrument panels, seating, and a flight engineer's seat. However, the engineers panel is not intricately designed, and the overhead panel is fully completed. Available in various formats and liveries, this Lockheed P-3 Orion model is an anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft initially developed for the United States Navy in the 1960s. Based on the L-188 Electra commercial airliner, it is easily recognizable due to its distinctive tail stinger or "MAD Boom" used for magnetic submarine detection.
