Constructed in November 2010, Orion boasts high fidelity textures and materials at near scale. Featuring numerous exterior details and animateable features like flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers, this model also allows for retractable landing gear with closable doors. The poly-count has been increased to enhance smoothness, while most of the aircraft was remodeled from scratch. Additionally, all materials have been reworked. Available in multiple formats, the Orion comes with various airline liveries and is a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft developed for the United States Navy in the 1960s. Derived from the L-188 Electra commercial airliner, it's easily identified by its distinctive tail stinger or "MAD Boom" used for magnetic submarine detection.
