The Orion, constructed in November 2010, boasts high-quality textures and materials and is nearly to scale. Remodeled from scratch, this model includes an interior with detailed cockpit that has controls, instrument panels, seating, and a flight engineer's seat, while the engineers panel and overhead panel are also completed. Available in various formats and multiple airline liveries, the Lockheed P-3 Orion is a four-engine turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance aircraft developed for the US Navy in the 1960s. It was based on the L-188 Electra commercial airliner and can be easily identified by its distinctive tail stinger, or "MAD Boom", used for magnetic submarine detection.
