The Lockheed P-3 Orion, resembling the L-188 Electra in construction, was launched in November 2010 with high fidelity textures and materials. This highly detailed model boasts animateable features such as flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers, while the landing gear can retract and close its doors. The polygon count has been improved, and most of the aircraft has been remodeled from scratch with reworked materials. This model is available in multiple formats and comes with various airline liveries. The P-3 Orion, a turboprop anti-submarine and maritime surveillance plane developed for the US Navy in the '60s, was inspired by the L-188 Electra commercial airliner. It's recognizable due to its "MAD Boom" tail stinger used for magnetic submarine detection.
