This November 2010 model, almost at scale, showcases high-quality textures and materials. It boasts detailed exterior features, animateable components like flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers, retractable landing gear with closed doors, and replaces our previous L188 Electra version. Improvements include increased face smoothness, higher poly-count, remodeled aircraft parts, and reworked materials. Inside, you'll find a detailed cockpit with controls, instrument panels, seating, and a flight engineer's seat; a cabin with double-walled fuselage, seats, animateable drop-down tables, overhead racks, and completed overhead panel; and a galley with lavatory bulkheads and doors. The model's interior features blue seating on a blue-gray carpeted floor. Available in eight formats with various airline liveries, the Lockheed Electra was designed in the mid-1950s, first entered service in 1959, served major airlines until the mid-70s, then moved to regional carriers, charter airlines, and cargo freight companies. They were cost-effective to operate, had a good safety record, and often outpaced jet airliner times on specific routes.
