Created in November 2010, this near-scale model boasts high-quality textures and materials. It features numerous exterior details such as animateable flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers. The landing gear is retractable with closable landing gear doors. This version replaces the previous L188 Electra model, with enhanced face smoothness, increased poly-count, and remodeled aircraft components. All materials have been reworked, and it includes a detailed interior featuring cockpit, cabin, and galley areas. The generic seating arrangement is for 66 passengers and comes complete with animateable drop-down tables and overhead racks. Bulkheads and doors for the lavatory and galley are also included. The model's interior features blue seating against a blue-gray carpeted floor. Available in eight formats, this model offers multiple airline liveries. First introduced in 1959, Lockheed Electra aircraft were designed in the mid-1950s and served airlines until the mid-1970s before transitioning to regional carriers, charter airlines, and cargo freight companies. They had an excellent safety record and could often outpace jet airliners on specific routes due to their economic operation.
