This model, developed in November 2010, closely resembles its full-sized counterpart with high-quality textures and materials. It features numerous exterior details including animatable parts like flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and propellers. The landing gear can be retracted, and the landing gear doors closed. This version has replaced our earlier L188 Electra model with enhanced face smoothness and increased poly-count, remodeled aircraft from scratch, and reworked all materials. It includes interior detailing such as a cockpit, cabin, and galley with a 66-seat arrangement. The cockpit comes equipped with controls, instrument panels, seating, and a flight engineer's seat, although the engineer's panel is not detailed. The overhead panel is completed. The cabin features double-walled fuselage, seats with animateable drop-down tables, and overhead racks. Bulkheads and doors for the galley and lavatory are also included. The interior sports blue seating on a blue-gray carpeted floor. This model comes in eight formats and various airline liveries. The Lockheed Electra originated in the mid-1950s, entering service in 1959 with multiple U.S.-based airlines. It served major carriers until the mid-1970s before being sold to regional operators, charter airlines, and cargo firms. Capacity increased from 66 passengers initially to 99 over time. Fuel-efficient and boasting a good safety record, these aircraft were powered by four Allison Turboprops turning 13-foot propellers, making them the fastest turboprop airliners ever flown. They frequently outpaced jet airliners on specific routes.
