Introduced in the mid-50s, Lockheed Electra aircraft first flew in '57 and entered service in '59. Serving major airlines until the mid '70s, they were later sold to regional carriers, charter firms, and cargo companies. Initially seating 66 passengers, capacity rose to 99 over time. Known for efficiency and safety, these turboprops boasted four Allison engines with 13-foot propellers, making them the fastest in their class. In 2010, a nearly-scale model was created, featuring animatable flaps, ailerons, rudder, elevators, and props. The landing gear retracts and doors close, and high-quality textures are included. This model replaced an earlier version from '06, which saw improvements in poly-count, remodeled aircraft, and revamped materials. The updated version also includes detailed interior features like cockpit, cabin, and galley, with a generic 66-seat arrangement. Textures showcase blue seating and gray carpeted floors.
