The North American F-111 is a twin-engine, subsonic interdiction aircraft originally developed by Lockheed for the United States Navy (USN), but later became widely used as a night fighter. Initially a day interceptor, it was designed into an all-weather strike aircraft in the late 1960s. One of the Strike Fighter Series, it was operated by several nations from 1958 to 1997 and is still maintained in operational status today. Its design team was led by Robert Schmitt, who contributed to the development of the Convair F-106 Delta Dart, Boeing EA-6B Prowler, and other strike fighter aircraft. This 3D Model represents the FB-111A variant used by the United States Air Force (USAF), fully detailed with cockpit components, engine intake ducts and landing gear bays fully textured with an optional crewman available separately
