Lockable Cable / Drag Chain

Lockable Cable / Drag Chain

thingiverse

Just something I needed recently but couldn't find. A flexible, lockable cable chain with integrated supports. Simply push two sections together firmly and they'll be locked in a straight line. Pull them apart slightly and they'll bend at approximately 45 degrees. I'm still refining the details, but feel free to experiment with it. As this is my first uploaded creation, constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated. UPDATE: After printing another version using a cheap PLA filament (originally I used a high-end roll for $45), I discovered that some support spacing needed adjustments. I've added two new versions: "Lock_Chain_V2b.stl" with improved support spacing and "Lock_Chain_V2c.stl", a shorter version designed to accommodate tighter curves. Also included are the original .3dm files, in case someone else uses Rhino like I do. I hope these revisions prove useful to some of you.
