Important Notice: Although this installation works flawlessly for me, I strongly advise against attempting to install it on a plane. It may cause unforeseen issues with reliability. Lock Pin for HobbyKing Sky Eye Tail This pin was specifically designed for the HobbyKing Sky Eye planer found at http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__41322__HobbyKing_174_8482_Sky_Eye_EPO_FPV_Glider_w_Flaps_2000mm_PNF_.html. The intention is to avoid gluing the tail section into the fuselage altogether. I drew inspiration from HobbyKing's Bix3 wings pins, which lock them firmly in place, and created a similar design for my planer's tail. Please refer to the provided photo to locate the spot where you should drill an 8mm hole. Update: Pin Misstep - The pin itself was constructed with an error; the projecting part should have been rotated by 90 degrees. Additionally, I have included a Sketchup file for any necessary modifications. Update: Print and Fitting Issue - After printing on my MakerBot 5th Gen, I encountered a problem where the pin became lodged in the washers too tightly. To rectify this situation, I will update the files later today and adjust the inner holes of the washers accordingly.
