Lock Pick case with Pinning tray v2
thingiverse
For v2, I've introduced a tension wrench holder that securely snaps into one side of the case. A plug follower has also been added, using the same snap-fit design. To achieve a smooth finish, I recommend printing with ABS and sanding after printing. If the tension wrench holder doesn't fit snugly in your printer, consider adding velcro to keep it in place. When printing both case parts, don't forget to include supports for the hinge. The hinge relies on toothpicks to hold everything together, while the magnets measure 6mmx3mm. In version 3, I plan to add a feature that allows elastic attachment to secure the picks in position. Remember to print the follower and tension wrench holder with 100% infill for optimal results. I drew inspiration from a Schlage tool when creating the follower. You can find the original design on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2981544.
