To lock the spring effect of the z-axis coupler on your Anet A8, follow these simple steps. You won't need to disassemble anything because it's easy to thread the 8mm rod through the 3mm nut and over the coupler. You'll need some hardware: four 3mm nuts and four 3mm x 16mm screws. This fix might not improve printing quality, but if you're using Marlin's Auto Bed Leveling feature, it will disable the spring effect and possibly enhance precision by keeping the z-axis steady.
