lock core holder (customizable)
thingiverse
Customizable lock core hand holder. This design was heavily influenced by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1386781 with several key improvements. Firstly, an optional cutaway is available for cut away locks; simply mirror the part in your slicer if yours is cutaway on the other side. Secondly, extra room has been added to the back of the holder to allow the unlocked cylinder to rotate freely when pushed all the way into its housing. Thirdly, a 6-32x1/4" set screw is now utilized, which is the most common size "coarse" computer screw; you should be able to find one around your house or at a local computer shop. The nut has also been made optional, so if you choose not to print it, you can either tap 6-32 threads or have the screw self-tap (ABS is recommended in this case). Fourthly, the holder now features parallel long sides, making it easier to place in a vice; an original oval shape remains as an option as well. Update January 2020: Support has been added for SFIC 6 and 7 pin cores. SFIC may require a tiny bit of support on the inside.
