A simple yet ingenious solution to secure a door to a printer enclosure. In creating a robust acrylic case for my Taz printer, I encountered an issue with the weight of the door causing the hinges to fail under stress. To overcome this challenge, I designed a lock and pin system that allows for easy attachment and detachment of the door. By installing locks on each end of the door, it can be quickly secured or released as needed, eliminating the need to struggle with fragile hinges.
