Lochside Lizards School Bus

I created this to showcase 3D printing for my kid's first-grade class. It took all day to print, and I had to make some adjustments with the wheels, but the kids loved watching it slowly take shape. The wheels work well when printed at high resolution and decent fill density - they'll rotate smoothly on the axle within a captive hub. The axle stub can be glued into the bus body or something you design yourself. At lower resolutions or less fill density, the axles might break off before the wheel comes loose from the hub. Since it takes longer than a school day to print at the required resolution for the wheels, I had some extra wheels in my pocket and replaced them with printed ones during class. No, I didn't capture a picture of the finished result.
