Update 2018-06-17 - A brand-new version, v11, has been uploaded, boasting a significantly wider gap and accommodating the velcro band used to secure batteries on drones. This setup is remarkably more secure than earlier rubberband designs showcased in images. This innovative holder is specifically designed for the so-called Loc8tor, and I personally use it to attach my Loc8tor tag to both high-speed FPV racers and slower-moving drones like the DJI Mavic Air. Attaching the tag with rubber bands works perfectly as long as they're not too loose. To ensure extra security, I often employ two rubber bands - one serves as a backup. A key difference between v7 and v8 lies in their thickness: v7 is 0.7mm thicker than v8. If you require some minimal play between the tag and drone, v7 would be an excellent choice. Conversely, if you prefer no room for movement at all, v8 would be a better fit - the distinction is so minute that either version will likely function adequately.
