I needed a wheelchair-mounted, elbow-activated switch for a client with severely limited mobility. Here is a LocLine-mounted switch that utilizes a 1.5 inch push button switch from Banggood, available in a 45mm Arcade Video Game Big Round Push Button LED Lighted Illuminated Lamp configuration at $2.21. The wires were carefully routed internally within the LocLine, and this setup uses a 3/4" NPT connection to secure it in place. Two parts that fit together seamlessly complete this design. Although the switch features an LED light, I opted not to use it. To ensure proper fitment, I had to slightly bend the switch connector tabs. For connectivity, I wired up the COM and N.O. (normally open) connectors for the switch. This setup is significantly lighter than a jelly bean switch mount, resulting in minimal sagging with the LocLine.
