Loc-Line Circular Flow Adapter

This is an adapter designed to secure a 1/4" loc-line circle flow kit (http://www.loc-line.com/product/41479-14-circle-flow-nozzle-kit-1pc/) in a circular pattern with all jets concentrated on one precise point. The adapter was engineered to slide onto a 2.2kw spindle for optimal flood cooling results. The second version incorporates strategically placed slots that enable every other jet to be rotated up or down, providing a more diverse spray pattern. We were using loc-line for a flood coolant nozzle on our CNC router, but discovered that a single line was insufficient for effective chip clearing. We considered adding additional loc-line tubes from alternative angles, but found they kept getting knocked out of position by our fixture on the jig. We decided to purchase the circular flow kit, which provided coolant from 360 degrees, but found it cumbersome to adjust and keep pointed exactly where we wanted, especially when supporting its own weight. So I created a part that would hold the loc-line in place around the spindle with the flow focused precisely on point. V1: On our CNC router, this design hits the ball screw support on the z-axis if left on during homing. We simply remove it while homing to prevent this issue. V2: This version has a smaller diameter so it can be left on during homing without any problems. Additionally, every other jet has a slot that allows for adjustment of the focal point. However, the jets without adjustment remain focused precisely on the point as in v1.
