Loadmaster shell slider for .223/5.56 REMIX
thingiverse
Like many others who rely on the LEE PRO 1000 loader, I experienced issues with the case feeder double feeding cases, prompting me to research potential fixes. To rectify this issue on my press, I attached a small wooden block to the factory slider/feeder. While it improved performance, occasional missfeeds still occurred. Next, while browsing YouTube instructional videos for the LEE PRO 1000 press, I came across one where the creator had printed a custom part. Inspired by their innovation, I searched Thingiverse and GrabCAD for similar part files. Luckily, I discovered the original design, which served as the foundation for my modified creation. Grateful to the original creator for sharing their work, I adapted it to meet my specific needs, matching its height with that of the OEM component and incorporating the added dimension provided by the wooden block. As a gesture of appreciation, I'd like to share my revised version in case others are seeking a similar solution for their LEE PRO 1000 reloading machine. Print Settings: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .20 Infill: 20% Notes: Printed using PLA at 180°C with a heated bed set to 70°C on my Printrbot-style RepRap. Marlin firmware is used on the printer, and Slic3r generates the G-code file, which is then printed directly from an SD card. After printing this part, it fit seamlessly onto my press, requiring only minimal cleanup. I will post images of the installed component soon.
