Load Insert for HO Walthers Mainline 53' Railgon Gondola

This is a customizable load insert for the HO Scale Walthers Mainline 53' Railgon gondola. Out of the box, these cars are roughly 1.5oz too light per the NMRA recommendations, so one version of this insert has a lowered section sized to fit a strip of 3 Harbor Freight half-ounce tire weights that will bring the car up to the recommended weight when loaded. The example pictures show this insert made into a scrap load, but it could be covered with almost anything else to make a custom load. It's best to paint the insert if you don't use a matte black filament, just in case any part of it ends up being slightly visible through your finished load.
