Load cell testbed
thingiverse
*** Update 2018-10-02 *** I Strengthened the base by adding a new one that can handle up to 5 kg if printed in PLA - even more with stronger plastics. When prototyping a project that involves a weight sensor, building a mock-up for the sensor is often challenging, time-consuming and low on precision. These two prints create a simple test bed for low-load prototyping. Printed in PLA it's good for at least 1 kg, even better with more exotic filaments. This design matches a very common type of load cell, measuring 80x12.7x12.7 mm, with hole spacing at 15 mm. If you have a load cell of a different size, I'm happy to create a version tailored to your needs - just get in touch. The bottom part resembles the Mercedes star, but that's purely coincidental.
