This a OO scale model of an LNER J21 locomotive and tender. These locomotives were first built in 1886 for the North Eastern Railway. They were classified as J 21s by the LNER from 1923 and continued in operation after nationalisation until 1962. The body is designed to fit on a Hornby 0-6-0 chassis (available on ebay).
