I'm upgrading my FT-5 R2 for 12mm Z rods by adding custom spacers that raise the bearing 10mm above the build platform. This prevents the Z bearings from striking the bottom of the printer, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance. The stock height is a mere 10mm, so feel free to adjust the design to suit your specific needs.
