This Lm8uu Y Carriage modification is specifically tailored for Mendelmax printers. The updated y-carriage7_max features a functional 3 lm8uu design. I personally prefer the y-carriage_al version, which has a lowered belt socket on the motor side that maintains belt level when used with an SDP aluminum pulley form. If you opt for a larger pulley on Y, use y-carriage_flat instead. No longer do I believe in bed springs or leveling print beds after initial setup. Surprisingly, my MendelMax requires no further bed leveling - the platform bolts together perfectly and stays that way. To prevent potential issues during long prints, I suggest printing spacers from ABS. Choose between y-carriage_al and y-carriage_flat as per your requirements, followed by y-carriage_spacer for a seamless setup.
