LM8UU Spacer for Z Axis
prusaprinters

It was recommended that there should be a space in between 2 of the bearings on both left n right Z axis.

As many know that the fitting is super tight, and therefore its a lot of work just to make a space in between.

So i decided create a spacer.
I measure ID of the bearing to be 8.4mm and the OD to be 15.0mm.
I drew a simple design with 0.2mm smaller OD to make sure the fitting won't be to tight when installing.

I believed this should come as a printed part of the MK3s package. And why no one thought of it as its been soo long since the MK3s was launched?

I just took mine out of the storage to assemble after keeping it in box for almost 3 years. And thought that something simple like this would have been picked up by the community.

Print instructions

0.2 layer height
3 walls
20% infill
5 top and bottom layers
