I design a modified LM8UU bearing mount for the RigidBot, employing PolyFlex material for interior reinforcement. The hard plastic's ridged structure effectively secures the bearing in place through precision-fit engineering. A unique feature of this Z-screw variant is an additional hole designed to accommodate an M5 screw, serving as a trigger mechanism for the Z-limit switch. Spaced at 1.25 inches apart, holes are optimally sized to fit M3 screws, providing stable mounting support.
