I design PLA lm8uu bushings with minimal contact, specifically to reduce play in the assembly. To minimize slop, I employ a helical design for these bushings, even when extending them to double their length. While my attempt to integrate these on the Y and Z axes has been unsuccessful, largely due to excessive friction that causes sticking or minor backlash, they perform incredibly well on the X carriage and are very quiet in operation. In my ongoing pursuit of refining the use of these bushings on the Y and Z axis, I plan to experiment with nylon in the near future. **Instructions** For optimal fit and proper functionality, print these PLA lm8uu bushings at a precise 0.59mm resolution with a single perimeter setting.
