LM2596 Buck Converter Case

Designed this case for a buck converter LM2596 purchased from ebay. I have designed two case lids one with a vent and the other without dependent on your requirements. The board sits on 4 posts with smaller protrusions which fit through the holes on the PCB, these can then be melted down with a hot soldering iron to secure the PCB or a dab of glue from a hot glue gun. The push buttons sit flush with the lid yet readily operate the micro switches on the PCB with the touch of a finger (the lid will initially have to be held upside down when fitting to the case to prevent them dropping out on installation) I have not thoroughly tested the heat dissipation when in use so printed this with PETG as a precaution but may also work with PLA+ subject to testing. There is a small adjustment hole as you can see in the images for voltage input adjustment. The case is secured with small M3 X 5mm countersunk bolts. There is a small hole at one end for the output lead and a larger 12mm hole at the other end to accommodate a chassis input socket. No supports where required on any of the parts although some may require a raft support for the buttons dependent on how your printer is tuned. Hope this helps, I have found the case very useful as it is fully operational with the lid secured.
