A versatile, tool-free enclosure designed specifically for your LM2596 buck/step-down converter that securely snaps onto any 2020 extrusion without requiring extra hardware. This innovative enclosure also allows you to keep your wires neatly organized through separate outside channels or bundled together in one convenient center channel. An optional base without clips is included as well, providing the flexibility to use double-sided tape or attach it in a different manner if needed. Update 4: After printing three sets with updated tabs, I recommend using my suggested settings to achieve stronger results. New photos are now available for viewing. Update 3: Based on four printed copies, these require a high infill percentage of at least 80%. I suggest slowing down your print speed to 40mm/s and using a layer height of .1 or .15 for added strength, as hollow tabs can snap off easily. Update 2: Please use the updated "Lid-v2.stl" file, which features stronger tabs. For enhanced strength, consider printing at a layer height of .1 or .15. Update 1: The original lid's tabs were a bit too small and fragile. I will be releasing version 2 soon with improved, more robust tabs.
