LM USA Science Festival Rover Sensor Bracket
thingiverse
This is the sensor bracket used to hold the Raspberry Pi camera and HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Sensor firmly in place at the front of the Rover on the Lockheed Martin USA SEF 2016 Robot. We produced this bracket using PLA and a precise .1mm resolution, with two shells for added strength, and included full supports throughout, as well as 20% infill - although, it's worth noting that the infill is not utilized in any portion of the print. The bracket was intentionally printed on its side to make it more resilient in the vertical orientation when attached to the robot, thereby reducing the likelihood of breakage if the robot were to fall off a structure. Feel free to adjust the print orientation to suit your preferences.
