Human: I've updated this design so the screw tabs/ziptie clips are now located at the ends to accommodate tight fits, representing version two. This update maintains the same lid functionality. The box is designed specifically for the LM-2596 adjustable dc voltage regulator and features an opening on each end for the input and output wires. The lid of this box has been engineered to snap securely into place. With a 2-shell design and 35 percent infill, its structural integrity is assured. Nevertheless, print settings may necessitate adjustments or even require sanding the inner edges of the lid to achieve a snug fit. This box was created for LM2596 voltage regulators, which are readily available on popular e-commerce platforms like eBay and Amazon. It can accommodate boards measuring 48mm by 23mm with wires soldered onto each end, along with a variable resistor to set the output voltage as depicted in accompanying photos. If you have other boards requiring enclosure, this design may need to be modified or resized accordingly.
