In this 3ds Max 2010 and V-Ray 2.40.03 tutorial, you can find two versions of scenes with distinct lighting at the archives. The second one features HDR+ies. You'll be able to view the lighting source location, VRay settings, VRay cameras, and materials I created in these scenes. Additionally, I've prepared video lessons for your benefit. These include: 1) post-processing demonstrating how Photoshop can enhance renders quickly, 2) creating a carpet similar to the scene using modifier cloth and unwrap UVW, 3) modeling a pillow with the modifier cloth and unwrap UVW, 4) modeling a pouffe with the modifier cloth and unwrap UVW, 5) creating curtains using the modifier cloth, and 6) adding branches and bools to a vase. I also show you how to set the white balance for VRayPhysicalCamera. These video lessons, recorded without sound, are easy to follow visually.
