Livet på Sagene - landskapsbilde
sketchfab
For nearly 10,500 years ago, the sea stood between 50 and 55 meters higher than today. At that time, a narrow but deep seaford cut into the land at Sagene. Farthest inland in this fjord, remains of some of the earliest settlements in the area have been found. On both sites, flint has been discovered, which is characteristic of older Stone Age periods. Various forms of tools such as scrapers, arrowheads and knives, as well as similar remnants of production, testify to short-term stays.
