In my digital fabrication class, I undertook my initial vector project by creating a star design. I utilized both vector and raster cutting techniques on the star, inscribing a simple quote. However, the SVG file displayed on this page differs from its Illustrator version due to unavailability of the used font family. The raster-cutting power was 50 with speed at 100, while vector-cutting involved frequency of 5000, power 100, and speed 45. For beginners, this project is suitable; remember to make font size larger than desired for accurate engraving outcome.
