I am excited to share my live catch mouse trap design, which prioritizes the comfort and safety of both the mouse and the user. The cleverly designed pan at the bottom makes cleanup a breeze, eliminating any mess or hassle. A small tool allows you to open the door from behind the trap, ensuring minimal interaction with the mice if that's not your preference. The pivot holes in the frame and door are thoughtfully crafted to accommodate your chosen hardware, providing flexibility and customization options. Although the design calls for a 1/16" hole, it prints slightly smaller, so I used 4-40 by 3/4 machine screws to ensure a secure fit. This project is being featured on Shawn Wood's YouTube channel as part of his review series. You can check out his channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/historichunter/featured. The video showcasing my mouse trap design is also available, and I will be sure to address any upgrades or suggestions mentioned by Shawn in the video and upload the updated version.
