The souterrain was unearthed during harvesting in October 2017 on the northern slope of a low rise within a tillage field. The passage is oriented east-west, measuring 10.7m long, 2.25m wide at its widest point, and 1.65m high, with a gradual decrease in width and height towards the eastern end (1.5m wide, 1.55m high). Animal bones, including horse bones, were discovered scattered on the floor. The modern entrance above is where a lintel has collapsed 1.5m from the western end, measuring 1.3m long, 1.2m wide, and 0.7m deep. A turn to the south leads to a second passage (2.7m long, 1.5m wide) at the eastern end, blocked by soil up to the lintels. The walls are constructed from dry stone and supported by corbels with lintels as roofing material.
