Small Hunting Area for Small Ant Farm This small module serves as a hunting area for a young colony of ants living in a test tube. The basic model is designed specifically for test tubes with an external diameter of 16.4mm. To adapt the model to other tube models, simply modify the diameter variable in the f3d file using Fusion 360. The printing process was completed using PLA filament on a Prusa i3 MK3S printer, equipped with a 0.4mm nozzle and 20% filling, with a layer height of 0.15mm. In addition to the hunting area, a model cache is provided to obscure the tube, as well as a template for cutting out the plexiglass used as an anti-evasion device. To prevent ants from clinging to the plexiglass and escaping, it must be covered with a thin layer of talcum powder on its underside.
