Little Rubber Band Crossbow

Little Rubber Band Crossbow

This design serves as an initial test for material robustness, usability and connectivity. The first print remains in progress, so anticipate changes to the files. Ensure a sufficient amount of infill for the bow, trigger and base components. Position parts according to your printer's requirements. While there are no critical overhanging elements, several straightforward bridges can be formed with correct alignment. Following printing, the base components must be bonded together using the base connector. All holes are designed to accommodate 2.85mm filament for connecting parts. Update 1: ClipOnGuide has been revised for easier placement. A mount for a 6mm laser diode has been added. Update 2: LaserCase has been modified to fit low-cost 3V 6mm laser diodes (with PCB not centered). BaseCon features a new chamfer to eliminate sharp edges. BaseFront and BaseBack have been updated for enhanced stability at connection points. Please note: This is not an actual firearm! If you're fortunate, you may be able to launch a small pencil before the bow breaks :-) Update 3: It functions as intended: With a few household rubberbands, it's capable of propelling a small pen about 4 meters :-)
