Little Printed Cars: 2CV tribute
thingiverse
The Citroën 2CV's design was a radical yet honest approach to car creation; however, this 3D-printable model isn't an exact replica but an interpretation of various versions, like the 1939 prototype. Notably, it originally had a single headlight for cost and weight reduction purposes. The car is designed on its side for rotating wheels without assembly, with a default size of approximately 1:30 scale compared to a real car. Smaller versions at 70% and 50% can also be printed for a cute appearance but may take longer. Be quick in grabbing this model as it might be temporarily removed from Thingiverse due to commercial purposes. For more information, visit michielcornelissen.com or follow on Facebook and Twitter. Remember, after printing, carefully loosen the wheels before the body to avoid damaging the axles.
