This is my first night light cover in a series, and it's one of the most iconic depictions of the book Le Petit Prince in my mind. Le Petit Prince is a novella by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a French aristocrat, writer, and aviator who made his mark on literature. The book was first published in English and French in the US by Reynal & Hitchcock in April 1943, and it gained popularity posthumously in France after the liberation of France. This was because Saint-Exupéry's works had been banned by the Vichy Regime. The story follows a young prince who travels to various planets in space, including Earth, and explores themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss. Despite its style as a children's book, The Little Prince makes insightful observations about life and human nature. I believe this to be one of the most charming editions that adds a touch of whimsy and wonder to any child's room.
