Little Power Hammer Base
thingiverse
Base for "Little Power Hammer - by Chedator". After building mine the motor made it too top heavy, so I designed a base to stabilize the model and contain the electronics. Follow the instructions from Chedator to build the power hammer itself as this is just a base. Motor was recycled from an old model helicopter. 9v battery with battery connector used for power. Switch was taken from a junk hair dryer. 3 screw holes are designed for 5mm long screw with 5.5mm head. Pilot holes were drilled into the bottom of the power hammer, then the screws were driven in. 4 small screw holes may need to be drilled larger depending on what screws you use. I used small 4mm long screws to secure the bottom to the top. 4 small adhesive rubber furniture pads were stuck to the bottom of the base to give it more grip and keep the screws from interfering. Wires are fed through small hole in the back of the base, then soldered into a circuit including the switch and battery. I am not an expert on electronics, so caution is advised when working with any electrical components. STEP file was included for customization if desired. Files can be mirrored to have the switch on the right side if desired.
