Little Green Man USB Drive
thingiverse
I adore gpvillamil's mini green man model as it's perfect for testing various filaments. After searching for an STL editor, I decided to create my own version of the green man using VIA CAD software. To make a flash drive case out of this model, I printed it on a UP! plus printer with orange CD-Writer ABS filament at 230°C. For the case, I used a Kingston DataTraveler Micro USB drive, which required removing its plastic casing and inserting it into the lower body. Initially, I added eight 2x2 magnets from First4Magnets to keep the two halves together, but they turned out unnecessary as the halves fit firmly without them. To ensure proper functionality, make sure you align the magnet polarities before gluing them in place. For your convenience, I've shared the STL file and VIA CAD file of my green man model.
