Little Giant Poultry Waterer Stand (Quail)

This is a stand / base for the “Little Giant - 1QT Jar Poultry Waterer Base - Item# 9826”. It was designed to fit perfectly into the lip of the rolled outside edge and raise the base up to keep quail from pooping in it. When it was resting on the floor of the cage the birds would poop in the water and kick their sand into it regularly. I tried multiple heights and this one is perfect. Its low enough for three week old quail to easily drink from but tall enough for the mature birds to keep clean. Also, the flared base make it much more stable and less likely to getting knocked over which I have done before when trying to collect eggs. I haven't tipped one over since using this 3D printed base. All of mine are printed in PLA and have held up fine from over a years worth of daily use.
