This 3D model is a miniature version of a seedling that makes growing an outdoor garden more accessible and convenient by allowing you to print a compact 2x2 version instead of purchasing a large 10x10 one. It serves as a great tool for teaching purposes because it replaces the traditional jar method with a reusable seedling. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.16-0.2 Infill: 5%-10% Notes: You can try printing without support, but be aware that it may result in some internal stringing. How I Designed This Elements needed include water and the tiny seedling. Preparation begins with dirt - a small handful of it. Next, add an equal amount of peat moss followed by half as much vermiculite. Mix everything together thoroughly to achieve a uniform blend, then add water before proceeding to remove excess moisture from the mixture. After that, fill the seedling with some soil while avoiding over-compression and leaving enough space for the seed. Place the seed inside and cover it with more dirt. In this case, pre-germinated lettuce seeds were used, but any type of seed can be employed along with as many as desired. Cover them with soil, and voila - the beginning of your own garden has begun. Remember to re-pot them in 30 days if they germinate. Custom Section Project: Little Garden Starter Kit Objectives: This project's primary aim is to teach both students and anyone interested how to cultivate their own garden, covering the process from seedling cultivation to fruit or flower development, leaving room for individuals to decide which level of knowledge they wish to acquire. Audiences: Kids, junior high school students, high school students, and everyone Steps: This project was driven by a desire to make growing one's own garden accessible to almost anyone, regardless of their expertise in this field. Additionally, it aimed to teach people how to cultivate their own healthy food. The explanation is self-explanatory given the previous photo guide on starting a garden. Results: As depicted in the cover photo, this little seedling has already started its journey towards becoming a garden, which we consider educational as it was used as a teaching tool not only for kids but also for teachers to cultivate vegetable gardens in their homes. And it is working effectively.
