Little Cross Bow
thingiverse
I redesigned the original laser cut crossbow to fit onto a 200x200 print bed for 3D printing. I added some changes to make assembly easier, but you might need superglue to attach the end. If the "firing pin" or rubber band holding bit gets bent, you can add another notch at the bottom barrel and connect a second rubber band from the notch to the upgraded trigger. The printed dart measures 9.3mm in diameter, which is an unusual size, requiring modification. Some parts fit tightly due to my redesign, so take time to inspect each part before assembling it. I had to file all my slots slightly. To print this design, you'll need: * 3 x 2mm screws or bolts * 3 x 2mm nylock nuts * Superglue * Rubber bands Print settings include: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3 X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40% Notes for the Dart file: If your slicer asks about scaling and units, answer "No". Post-printing adjustments might include sanding and re-drilling holes to ensure a smooth assembly process.
