Little bush moa skeleton
cults3d
The tiny bush moa (Anomalopteryx didiformis) was a flightless bird that went extinct in New Zealand. Many species of moa once thrived in New Zealand, and all of them were incapable of flight. The tiny bush moa was the smallest of all moa species. This skeleton has been built by digitizing bones from the ornithological collections at the Auckland War Memorial Museum in Auckland, New Zealand. Bones from two distinct moa skeletons (Specimen 5511 and 5512) have been combined.
