They walk in silence, their footsteps echoing off the cold walls of the abandoned building. The air is thick with dust and the stench of decay, a constant reminder that this place has been left to rot. The figure ahead pauses, its head cocked slightly to one side as it listens intently. Suddenly, it spins around, its eyes locked onto something in the distance. A low growl rumbles in its throat as it begins to move forward, its pace quickening with every step. The sound of scuttling feet grows louder, and soon a small creature comes into view. It's no bigger than a housecat, but its body is twisted and malformed, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. The figure closes in, its growl growing louder still as it prepares to strike.
